player registration
Registration follows two steps:
- Club registration: Players participating in code (i.e. sport disciplines) practices must register with and pay dues to Atlanta GAA. Club dues are waived for new players in their first year playing in the club.
- USGAA registration: All players must register with and pay annual dues to the United States Gaelic Athletic Association.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Why do I have to register twice?
Because as a GAA player in the USA, insurance is covered by the USGAA and equipment, fields and other costs of running practice at and administering the club are covered by Atlanta GAA. - What does the registration fees cover?
The USGAA fee covers player’s insurance and the Atlanta GAA fee covers the cost of running practice such as fields and common equipment (balls, nets, field rental, etc.) and general administration. - What are my deadlines?
If you are an inter county transfer, USGAA deadline is March 31. For current club players, it is April 30. For new players, August 1. Club fees need to be paid by April 30, unless you are a new player who starts later in the year, in which case you must pay it after the first few practices trying the sport. - What if I am a new player?
If it is your first year playing at the club, then you do not need to club dues. However, you will need to register with the USGAA. - Should I register if I only want to participate in the coed leagues?
In order to participate in the coed leagues, you must also register with the USGAA, in order to receive players’ insurance. This will be done once annually only. If you are not attending club practice, you don’t need to pay Atlanta GAA dues or register with the club. - Why do I have to pay for registration if I have to pay for the coed league as well?
The cost of the coed league is for common equipment, field rentals and shirts. - What does the social member registration cover?
